Gucci Met Gala After Party, 2019

Gucci hosted the star studded 2019 Met Gala After Party at Hunter College gymnasium in New York. Partnering with Theresa Rivera Design, I managed the production of the set design, overseeing the budget, coordinating the logistics of installation, sourcing furniture, and styling on site.

We brought the school-themed concept to life by carefully selecting decor and catering elements to align with Hunter College’s colors and create a collegiate vibe. It was a massive installation that required sourcing and transporting a wide array of retro furniture, including several key pieces brought in from out of state, and securing hard-to-find items like a working soft serve machine and authentic concession stand elements.
